I know all of us that aren't willing to pay $50.00 for a brand spankin' new, top-of-the-line Sidewinder pad are sick of the crappy controllers that are out there for the PC... Thus making MUGEN play and the play of other emulators and PC games unbearable at times.
So, using the circuit diagrams found freely allover the web, I created a converter for my PSX controllers!
After friends seen what I had created using parts from some broken Playstations I had access to, they began begging me to make one for them.
This is what my converter looks like... 2 controller support, force feedback, plus the ability to use a multi-tap for up to 5 controllers at the same time. Notice the plugs are nothing more that a PSX controller port I took from a broken down Playstation! Unfortunately, I no longer have any more of these, but if I wind up getting many orders, I will have these reproduced. (Only the controller plugs... the memory card slots work on mine for use with bleem!, but it was tough to get this to work correctly.)
After making about 2 dozen or so of these using all the PSX parts I had, I began using plain old controller extension cords for the purpose.
So I figure that not everyone is able to make these but many want one. So I will make these for anyone who wishes to have one. =)
The cost will be...
For PSX converters $20.00 + S&H (usually 3 - 4 USD, may be more for outside the US)
For SNES converters, $10.00 + S&H.
To order, merely send an E-mail specifying what converter you would like (PSX or SNES), and I will reply with info on total cost and ship dates =).
(If PSX is desired, please specify if you would like force feedback support added to the converter... pricing for this is yet to be determined.)
